As we enter 2023, I would like to share some thoughts about the significance of this number.
This year, in 2023 (223) something notable will happen in March - Pluto (king of the underworld) will go into Aquarius for the first time in over 200 years. Pluto last passed through Aquarius in 1778 and 1798 which was a revolutionary time worldwide - the French revolution began in 1789 and the United States of America was founded in 1776 and experienced significant change in those years.
We can also expect to see such revolutionary times for ourselves. I am sharing a blessing here for your year 2023, that it may unfold according to the divine ways of the Cosmos for highest truth, love, compassion, growth and wisdom.
The following are some thoughts and reflections from conversations I have recently had with astrologer Oka Fala.
De-coding the Significance of 223
On the 22nd of March 2023 (22/03/2023) or 223/223, Pluto will pass through the final degrees of Capricorn - hitting the critical final degree at 2:24pm (just after 2:23.) This will be the exit point out of Capricorn (its final degree) lasting until the 23rd of March 2023, when Pluto will enter Aquarius at 12:15 mid-day.

'The Scapegoat' by William Holman Hunt
Capricorn, symbolised as the goat, represents the father, systems, government and work - so this is an important energy which secret societies or institutions may wish to hold power over. There are some who wish to carry that power over into Aquarius with their controlling 'new world order' schemes or rituals, yet there are enough of us awake now who can empower ourselves so that the divine's true ways can prevail. We can only be deceived or manipulated into giving our power away - yet true power belongs with the divine.
Secret Societies and 223
322 or 223 is the code of the American secret society known as Skull and Bones, (also known as The Order, Order 322 or The Brotherhood of Death.) It is an undergraduate secret society of Yale university. It is considered to be the most famous of secret collegiate societies in America of which there are many. British universities also have a long history of secret societies.

The meaning of the number 322 is based on speculation, with some believing it was taken from the year 1832 in which the society was established. Others believe it is linked to 322 B.C. the year in which the democracy was dissolved in Athens after the end of the Lamian war and a plutocratic system was set up in its place whereby the 9,000 richest civilians gained ownership of the city and around 60% of the citizenship (the poor) were exiled. A plutocracy is a society ruled or controlled by people of high wealth.
Pluto - God of Wealth
It's quite interesting that this word plutocracy contains Pluto. Ploutos was the Greek word for wealth, and Pluto in Greek mythology was the king of the underworld (where the mineral wealth of our planet can be found) - Pluto meant 'god of wealth.' We are still living in a world of Plutocrats yet our future depends on the purification of Pluto's underworld as it leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius (which is all about truth, freedom, uniqueness and technology) in March, so that energies of greed and control can be surrendered to something greater and all beings have a chance to access their inner wealth. Pluto (subconscious) rules Scorpio, the sign of sex, death, mysteries and transformation - if we are willing to go to the depths and do the transformational work, then we may find the riches within.
Capricorn
There are some who believe that the Skull and Bones secret society or Order 322 is a branch of the Illuminati and has a significant influence in agendas for world control. It is a secret society of Yale University and interestingly, the yale was a mythological being resembling the goat - a symbol of Capricorn. Again we can see the patterns linking Capricorn (father, systems, government, work) with this secret society. The yale was first described by Pliny - it was a goat-like creature with tusks of a boar and large horns. It features as a symbol in many establishments including Cambridge university and has been used by the British royalty since it was believed to display courage in times of war yet was peaceful when out of action.

Yale university got its name from a Welshman Elihu Yale who had made a large donation to the college which initially began in the 1700s. Although this Welsh name has different origins to the Hebrew word Yael meaning ibex (from which the word for the mythological yale beast is thought to derive,) those interested in syncretism may draw parallels. The yale mythological beast also appears throughout the Yale university campus. It appears on the coat of arms of their Faculty of Arts and Sciences and also on the the banner of the president of the university.

On the 9th October 1701, an act was passed by government to officially erect the college school which would be named Yale - that was 322 years ago.
23
The number 23, connected to this code, also has significance and is known as the '23 enigma.' Some people become fascinated by this number and it has appeared in many books, films and theories. 23 is also connected with time and the final moments of a day - on a digital clock, the final moment of a day is 23:59 before it hits 00:00 - the reset and the start of a new day.
The following notes are taken from this article about 23 by the Independent.
23 is a prime number meaning it cannot be divided by another number, only by itself and one.
2/3= 0.66666666666
9/11 happened on 11 September 2001. The figures of 11/09/2001 add up to number 23.
Each parent gives 23 chromosomes to create the child. Cells in human bodies therefore have 46 chromosomes of 23 pairs. So this number has connections with our DNA.

Discordianism is a 'religion' based on Eris, or Discordia - the goddess of chaos - and was founded in 1963 with its 'holy book' the Principia Discordia which recognises the holy 23 (2+3=5.) They describe both order and chaos as being illusions imposed on the universe by humans and are divisions of pure chaos being the underlying impulse of the cosmos - creating a window for those who practise 'chaos magic' and reject objective truth.
The writer William Burroughs was fascinated by the number 23 (and chaos magic) and the following is a quote about his interest:
"I first heard of the 23 enigma from William S Burroughs, author of Naked Lunch, Nova Express, etc. According to Burroughs, he had known a certain Captain Clark, around 1960 in Tangier, who once bragged that he had been sailing 23 years without an accident. That very day, Clark’s ship had an accident that killed him and everybody else aboard. Furthermore, while Burroughs was thinking about this crude example of the irony of the gods that evening, a bulletin on the radio announced the crash of an airliner in Florida, USA. The pilot was another Captain Clark and the flight was Flight 23." Robert Anton Wilson.
Some believe it to be lucky, some find it unlucky and connected to death. It seems that our intention in how we receive it is vital - we can take it to a pure place, or a dark and chaotic one. Either way - it holds a deep significance and can perhaps open a doorway for us (and our DNA) in regard to the timeline we wish to create for ourselves.

223 and 322 in the Book of Revelations
For those who find esoteric nuggets of wisdom in the symbols of the Book of Revelations, you may find the following imagery of interest.
Revelation 2 speaks about a wounded feminine archetype known as Jezebel who appeared in the Old Testament as a queen of Israel who instituted the worship of Ba'al (who was named Beelzebub in the New Testament and equated with Satan.) It is thought that she used seductive and manipulative techniques to lead people into vice and was brutal to the worshippers of Yahweh.
Revelation 2 addresses Jezebel who "calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols." The book can suggest the need to repent in these times of death and transformation (Pluto) so that we can ascend to the next age (Pluto entering Aquarius.) The book hints that these times may be challenging as we confront our karma, yet we are given the time to repent and forgive and to let go of the past, particularly in regard to energies which may distract us or pull us away from our true path, such as seduction or greed. This can be a deeply rewarding and purifying time to let go of what no longer serves us as we prepare for this great shift collectively into truth and alignment.
Revelation 2:
2 [21] "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2 [22] Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
2 [23] And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works."
Revelation 3:
3 [21] "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
3 [22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
